Fournier No.12 Playing Cards are 100% Spanish Playing Cards. Every Fournier deck goes through strict quality control to ensure attention to every detail. We follow the same standard when marking Fournier No.12 plastic cards with UV juice ink.
The card type of Fournier No.12 juice marked cards is different from ordinary playing cards such as KEM cards and Bicycle cards. It is classified as a Latin suit and has strong resemblance to Italian suits. There are no numbers in the numerical value of this deck, not even the letters in the French deck. The four suits are bastos (plum blossoms), oros (literally “gold”, i.e. gold coins), copas (cups) and espadas (swords).
But it’s easy to see the suit and face value of the cards when they’re marked in juice ink, looking directly at the back of each card. Of course, UV traces are visible to the naked eye; you’ll need to see kit with a poker reader, such as UV poker contact lenses and sunglasses. Don’t worry about UV ink changing the color of your Fournier cards, we have proven technology to ensure juice marked cards look the same as clean playing cards.
